The 49ers pix we were too depressed to post

After nearly 49 hours of crying into our Red wine and Goldschläger, depression has finally retreated sufficiently — into the teens on the Hamilton scale, thanks for asking — to allow our fingers to type this post.

We hereby share the fine images of anticipation, discouragement and even minor street mayhem captured by intrepid SFBay photographers Godofredo Vasquez and Gil Riego, Jr. on Super Bowl Sunday.

If we can get into single digits on the HAM-D, we may be able to watch ESPN again.
