A Union City man was shot in East Palo Alto early this morning and drove himself to the hospital, according to police.
Police received reports of shots fired in the 2400 block of Gonzaga Street at 2:51 a.m. While investigating the shooting scene, they learned that a 38-year-old man had driven himself to the hospital after he was shot there, police said.
The man is in stable condition and expected to survive his injuries, police said.
