Firefighters are responding to reports that a driver ran a red light and hit a police car in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood Tuesday morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.
UPDATE 12:31 Officer not seriously injured in SoMa crash.The fire department received reports that a police car had been struck by another vehicle near the corner of Eighth and Harrison streets at 11:41 a.m., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said. An ambulance and rescue captain responded, but Talmadge did not know if anyone was seriously injured.
