A 61-year-old woman was struck and killed by a truck in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Monday afternoon, police said.
The woman, identified by the medical examiner’s office as San Francisco resident Rose Kelly, was hit in a collision reported at 1:21 p.m.
Monday at 33rd Avenue and Cabrillo Street, police said.
A 62-year-old man was driving a GMC truck north on 33rd Avenue when he hit Kelly, who was walking east in the crosswalk on Cabrillo Street, according to police.
Kelly was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver was not arrested following the collision. San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said more information about the case was not immediately being released this morning.
