Officials are working to recover human remains that were found on the side of state Highway 9.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is working to recover human remains Tuesday that were found on the side of state Highway 9 near Saratoga over the weekend.
The remains were reported on Sunday at a site off the side of the highway near Booker Creek Road in unincorporated Santa Clara County, in the hills above the city of Saratoga, according to sheriff’s office officials.
The remains appear to have been at the site for around a year, officials said.
