Of the 5,879 babies born in the county up to the last day of the year, 2,827 were girls and 3,052 were boys. There were 45 Olivias and 34 Lucases.
The second-most popular girl’s name was Emma, with 30 babies given the moniker. For boys, it was Alexander with 32.
The total number of county births increased 5 percent from 2013, according to officials.
