California’s unemployment rate last month, unadjusted for seasonal effects, was 6.2 percent. The seasonally adjusted rate in California in June was 6.3 percent, according to employment officials.
Among Bay Area counties, Solano County had the highest unemployment rate in June at 5.9 percent on an unadjusted basis, employment officials said.
The unadjusted rates in five Bay Area counties in June were 4 to 4.9 percent and in three Bay Area counties the unadjusted rates were 3.3 to 3.5 percent, employment officials said.
San Mateo County had the lowest unadjusted June unemployment rate in the Bay Area at 3.3 percent, according to the employment development department.
