Firefighters first reported the collision in the area of Loveridge Road on Twitter just after 9 p.m.
Firefighters did not locate any victims in the vehicle and are checking the area, according to a department spokesman.
The train has stopped in the area and no injuries are reported on board, according to fire officials.
