Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying an armed man wanted in connection with a possible home invasion robbery in San Francisco, police said today.

The incident occurred in the 1300 block of La Playa Street around 8:40 a.m. Monday.

In a security video posted to YouTube by police, the armed suspect can be seen attacking a man in a garage.

The victim fights back and after a struggle he’s able to wrestle a handgun away from the suspect, move outside of the garage and point the weapon at his attacker, who then flees the scene off-camera.

No suspect description was immediately available, but police said he had dread locks.
