A 35-year-old Antioch man shot while driving a car carrying two children Friday afternoon in Pittsburg is in stable condition, a police spokesman said today.
Around 3:30 p.m., the victim caught the attention of officers while he drove at Diane and El Pueblo avenues, police Capt. Ron Raman said.
The man reported he was shot while heading north on Diane Avenue, Raman said.
The victim was suffered a gunshot wound to his neck and was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, according to Raman.
The children inside the car were not injured, Raman said.
