Around 4:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicular accident happening near Pier 32, according to police.
One of the van’s axles got stuck at the end of the pier, police said.
As the van dangled off the pier, the driver was able to get out of the van, according to police.
The driver did not suffer any injuries, police said.
