12-year-old Dublin boy struck by car

A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car outside Dublin High School Wednesday morning.

The first report of the crash came in at 7:51 a.m., according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The boy was trapped under the vehicle and had to be taken to the hospital by helicopter, Alameda County Fire Department spokeswoman Aisha Knowles said.

Dublin High School is located at 8151 Village Parkway.
