A pedestrian was transported to a hospital Tuesday night after being struck by a Muni light rail vehicle in the Dogpatch neighborhood, according to San Francisco police.
The incident was first reported at 8:21 p.m., a dispatcher said.
Capt. Vaswani, commanding officer of the Bay View Police Station, announced via Twitter around 10 p.m. that the incident occurred in the vicinity of Third and Mariposa Streets.
Vaswani said delays through the area could be expected.
