Overnight thieves snatch half-million in jewelry
Police are seeking two suspects who allegedly stole $500,000 worth of jewelry from a store in San Francisco’s Union Square early Thursday morning.
Around 3:45 a.m., the pair entered a jewelry store in the 100 block of O’Farrell Street, according to police.
Once inside, the suspects loaded cases of jewelry into a duffel bag. The pair then fled in a Ford sedan. The burglary was captured on the store’s surveillance camera.
The first suspect is described as a black man with a dreadlock hairstyle, wearing a dark colored jacket, tan pants and white shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black man wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, which is pulled up over his head.
