A man shot and killed in East Oakland Monday afternoon has been identified as Union City resident Ernest McMurry, according to police and the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.
The shooting was reported at 1:52 p.m. in the 2300 block of 80th Avenue.
Police have arrested a suspect but a spokesperson this morning said they are not releasing the suspect’s identity.
