0

At least one person was injured when a San Francisco Municipal Railway light rail vehicle collided with a car in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood.

The collision was reported at 12:37 p.m. at Third and 16th Streets, according to Muni spokesman Paul Rose.

A victim suffered minor injuries during the incident. It was not immediately clear if that person was inside the car that collided with the Muni car.

Muni service has been stopped at Channel and Fourth streets and shuttles are picking up passengers who may be stranded, Rose said.

Drivers in the area should expect traffic delays, according to fire officials.

No other information was immediately available.
