Hazardous rain, winds arriving to Bay Area

A fast-moving storm system has prompted officials with the National Weather Service to issue a hazardous weather outlook for the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay Area.

The system could bring rain and gusty winds today and tonight, and could result in minor flooding in low-lying areas, debris in areas of steep terrain, and downed trees and power lines, NWS officials said.

Another storm system arriving Monday is likely to bring more rain.
