Some residents who had been evacuated in both Napa and Sonoma counties area being allowed to return homes, after authorities lifted several evacuation orders and advisories Tuesday.

The mandatory evacuation of Patrick Road in west Napa County was lifted Tuesday at 5 p.m., and there will be no more road closures on Patrick Road, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said.

The reductions include State Highway 128 north to Vanoni Road outside the fire perimeter in the Geyserville area, and a medical complex at 3536 and 3540 Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa. All areas within the mandatory evacuation zone around the complex will remain in place. The only access to the complex will be via Steele Lane north to Mendocino Avenue.

The reduced evacuations in the Sonoma Valley include the unincorporated areas east of Sonoma, including: east of Fourth Street East to Lovall Valley Road at Thornsberry Road, including Lovall Valley Court; south of Lovall Valley Road to East Napa Street; the area east of Seventh Street East to the fire perimeter and state Highway 121; and all streets south from East Napa Street to Napa Road.
