Police say that Terra Nova High School in Pacifica was placed into “secure campus mode” Friday morning while they investigated social media threats of a possible shooting.

Officers were notified around 11 a.m. that a student had seen a threatening message online several days ago, but just reported it today, and responded to the school, which is located at 1450 Terra Nova Blvd.

Police say the investigation is still in its early stages, and anyone with additional information is asked to call investigators at (650) 738-7314.
