Muni train derails at Castro Station


A Muni train derailed on Friday morning at Castro Station, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency tweeted out at 7:15 a.m.

Bus shuttles are providing support between West Portal and Church stations, according to the transit agency.

The derailment is not affecting service on the J-Church and N-Judah.

UPDATE 12:33 p.m. The train has been cleared and service has resumed through Castro Station, according to the SFMTA.

Another tweet went out saying that the delay may possibly last through the rush hour commute.

No injuries were reported.
