One person was killed and a second arrested Sunday night in a car-vs.-motorcycle collision on northbound Interstate Highway 280 near the Meridian Avenue interchange, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported at 7:04 p.m., after a witness saw the motorcycle and a Cadillac collide.
One person, whose name and gender were not available late Sunday night, was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP couldn’t confirm whether the person killed was the motorcycle’s driver.
Another person involved in the accident was arrested at the scene, but the CHP couldn’t say what the charges are. CHP investigators remained at the scene late tonight.
