The city of Vallejo and the First Baptist Church Vallejo are opening a temporary warming shelter Tuesday night because temperatures are expected to drop to freezing.

The city of Vallejo and the First Baptist Church Vallejo are opening a temporary warming shelter Tuesday night because temperatures are expected to drop to freezing.
The First Baptist Church will offer as many as 60 beds from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a cot, a blanket and warm soup for those who stay the night.
The shelter is open to all, regardless of gender, identity, ethnicity, income or religious affiliation, city officials said.
The overnight warming shelter is at the church at 2025 Sonoma Blvd. For more information, call Pastor Mike Brown at (707) 644-4087. The city’s security firm will provide security.
