A 37-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a family member at a home in Hercules on Sunday morning, police said. Officers responded at 7:42 a.m. to a home in the 1000 block of Crepe Myrtle Drive on a report of a man who had been stabbed and located Wesley Visor walking away from the residence, according to police. Visor was detained and placed in a patrol vehicle, and officers located the 66-year-old victim in front of the home with multiple stab wounds to his upper chest, shoulder and arm.
He was taken by ambulance to a field in Rodeo, and then airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, and was in serious but stable condition as of Monday, police said.
Visor was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into county jail. He is related to the victim and both live at the home, but a motive for the attack remains under investigation, according to police.
