Three people died in a shooting Tuesday evening at a new and used car dealership in Morgan Hill, police said.

More than one person called at 6:03 p.m. to report shots fired at The Ford Store Morgan Hill at 17045 Condit Road. Police said callers told them multiple shots had been fired inside the building.

Officers arrived four minutes later and found a person outside dead. The person appeared to have shot himself, police said. A handgun was by his side.

Employees then directed officers inside where two employees were found shot. Police said they were pronounced dead where officers found them. According to police, there is no threat to the public. Condit Road remains closed from E. Dunne Avenue to Diana Avenue and may be closed for some time.

Area residents can get to their homes by other routes. Police extended their condolences to the families of the victims.
