Santa Rosa police said a pedestrian was killed Friday afternoon after two vehicles collided on Cleveland Avenue.
The pedestrian was struck on the sidewalk at 2999 Cleveland Ave. near State Farm Drive by a Subaru driven by a 20-year-old Santa Rosa man. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the Subaru and a Lexus driven by an 18-year-old Santa Rosa man collided, and the Subaru drove onto the west sidewalk and struck the pedestrian, whose name is not yet being released pending notification of family.
Police responded around 3:50 p.m. to the collision, which closed Cleveland Avenue for about three hours.
The Subaru driver was injured and taken to a hospital, police said. The Lexus driver did not suffer any injuries.
There is no indication that impairment was a factor in the collision, police said.
