Two Muni trolley coaches manufactured by the defunct Electric Transit, Inc. — a joint venture of Czech firm Škoda and United Industrial Corporation — caught fire in service last week.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is reminding commuters today’s Nike Women’s Marathon will affect several Muni routes and could cause delays in San Francisco.

The 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton will serve from the outbound terminals to Washington Square. A special 30/45 motor coach shuttle will serve between Washington Square and Caltrain.

The 33 Stanyan will be split into two sections, south and north of the Pandhandle.

The routes could be impacted starting at 5 a.m. and going until 4 p.m. Lines will resume regular service once the race has cleared.

The 1, 5, 10, 12, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, 31, 38, 47 and 49 lines could see delays today.

The 2, 3, 8X, 19, 29, 30, 33, 43, 44, 45 and Powell Cable Cars will also have delays and reroutes.
