Officers have arrested a San Francisco man suspected in a February shooting of a 63-year-old man in North Beach, according to police.
After serving search warrants at two locations, officers arrested Nicholas Mar, 30, on March 14 on suspicion of attempted murder and firearms violations, police said Thursday.
The victim was shot at about 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the area of Vallejo Street and Pollard Place. Witnesses told police that they heard a gunshot and then saw the man lying in the street.
He remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
