Commercial truck strikes, kills skateboarder in SF SOMA neighborhood


A commercial truck struck and killed a skateboarder in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The collision was reported at 12:16 p.m. in the 100 block of Seventh Street.

The truck was traveling on Seventh Street when it hit the skateboarder, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. No other information about the collision was immediately released by police.
