Symphony strikes a chord for veterans

Veterans and others can enjoy a symphony concert Wednesday evening in San Francisco when Swords to Plowshares hosts the 3rd annual Summer Solstice Concert: Symphony for Veterans.

The concert begins at 6 p.m. at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center at 401 Van Ness Avenue.

Music by Symphonia Caritas will be conducted by Paul Schrage with soprano soloist Ellen Leslie.
